Dr. Jerry Sims
Dr. Sims is a Reproductive Endocrinologist who is specially trained to work with hormone related problems such as those associated with infertility, menopause, and other endocrine related issues.
Dr. Jerry Sims of South Tulsa Associates for Reproductive Treatment serves Tulsans as a specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Sims is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. Following completion of the Reproductive Medicine Fellowship in 1993, Dr. Sims became Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine-Tulsa. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, North American Menopause Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Surgeons, and the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine, as well as numerous other professional societies.
Along with Dr. Sims’ medical expertise in assisted reproductive technologies, in vitro fertilization, and laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, his special interests include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, polycystic ovary syndrome, repeated pregnancy loss, hirsutism, and endometriosis. In 2000, Dr. Sims opened a private practice, South Tulsa Associates for Reproductive Treatment (START), devoted to the subspecialty of Reproductive Medicine. In addition, he currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of OB/GYN at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
